Kelley Baker has counseled individuals and families in the Austin area since 1994. She was educated at Texas State University, where she earned a B.A. degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Guidance. After completion of her Master’s Degree, she worked for two years in a residential center for adolescent girls as an individual and family counselor.

She traveled to India for spiritual study during 1995 and also started her doctorate training at the University of Texas at Austin. While studying at UT, she completed a Master’s Degree in Program Evaluation and a Ph.D. in Developmental, Social, and Personality Psychology.

Dr. Baker has been licensed as a Professional Counselor in the state of Texas since 1994. She has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in Psychology, Human Development and counseling at Austin Community College and Texas State University.

Dr. Baker specializes in helping families through the process of divorce. She provides counseling services to children and parents during and after the divorce process. In addition to counseling services, Dr. Baker accepts appointments from the court as a Guardian Ad Litem and any other role which serves the best interests of the child. She also provides home study reports for uncontested adoptions.

Dr. Baker has provided expert testimony in Williamson, Travis, Burnet, Hays, Lampasas, Bastrop and Comal Counties.
